I just wanted to say congratulations to all the winners & runnners up last nite, what a great evening, thank you to everyone that turned up,you all made it a memorable first presentation evening. you should all be proud of what we have achieved in the first season. Lets hope 2009/10 season brings more success and some winners medals thrown in for all your hard work.

Hello to all fellow Riflemen, just to reiterate on the text l sent, lets make saturday 6th june a night to remember, the first of anything is always important, to be able to say in a few years that you were part of something right from the start and that you were there to celebrate the first presentation night will give all of you a special memory. Fellas.Well done for the season,if they had offered us premotion and 2nd or 3rd place at the beginning of the season we would of snapped it up.Weve gotta learn from our mistakes this season and come back a bigger stronger,and better side.Not to say we made lots...but we all felt disapointed after it just slipped away.We know the feeling now,and it feels like shit.........IT WONT HAPPEN AGAIN!!...well done boys..it's been emotional!!

You all need to start getting your tickets for the presentation night, and not just for yourselves but for family and friends too. It's your night and only you guys will make a success or failure of it. Good morning chaps, I find myself having to ask you all to spend another saturday indoors watching a good film with only the minimum amount of alcohol as a companion!! We need another performance to match last weeks, only 110% will be good enough to beat a much improved Sovereign Sports team. We will be playing on the same pitch that we played Intergills on. Hi guys, the kit that Richard and me have chosen can be seen on 'www.teamsport90.com. Go into MAAS kits then scroll to the DERBY, then change colour to SKY BLUE. This has been chosen because it's the right colour at the right cost. I appreciate that it might not be everyones 1st choice but there isn't a kit that would be everyones favourite!! I hope you are all prepared for tomorrows game and that you are all going to be tucked into bed nice and early, and more to the point, nice and sober. l'm sure none of you need reminding of the importance of tomorrows game. there are some possible other options that are nice, i will get them printed off this week and show them to you.
we also have a budget to work to as it's a whole new kit were having to get and as you can all appreciate it's not just the kit costs it's the printing also, it's unfortunate that this is an added expense that we didn't really need. I am also working on trying to get one of the companies we use to actually sponsor us and pay for a kit.

Hi guys, the school at which we train is closed for the next 2 weeks, which means no training!! We will use this coming Wednesday to have a team meeting at the Princes Park pub. At the meeting we will discuss this season to date, closed season activities and what preparation we need for next season. I think we need as many as possible to turn up to show Lawrence ( the pub guv'nor ) that we are serious about being a 'pub team', because I get the impression that he is serious about having us as a team. We will meet in the pub at 7:30, the meeting will last as long as it takes to discuss the above. The club will provide sausage and chips for squad members that attend. Please let me know, before Wednesday if you are going to attend or not. Cheers Steve

As most of you know Robbie and me went to see the new owner of the Princess Park pub on wednesday night after training to have a chat about basing our team there following the closure of the Rifleman. I am pleased to tell you that it went very well, Lawrence ( the owners name ) is more than happy to accomodate us and will help us in any way he can. We have booked our presentation night at the pub, Saturday 6th June, and l have also booked it for 'Marge' and mines 30th wedding anniversary party ( by invitation only ) on Saturday 18th July. The pub has its 'official' opening night on Saturday 28th March, l think it would be a nice gesture if as many of us as possible turn up to show our support for our new host. I think that yesterdays win at Old Oak was a pretty good all round team effort, a few more goals wouldn't have gone amiss, but 3 points are 3 points, and so long as we keep up the effort I am still confident that we will get our just rewards at the end of the season.
